What is the PLAN?
Grab your computer and get ready for some gaming! The 'PLAN' (aka The Parkview LAN Party) is a LAN party hosted three times a year by the Computer Club of Western Michigan University. Our numbering scheme may look a little weird, but that's because we're weird. We don't always have LAN parties during the summer, so we decided to use letters instead of numbers to differentiate between them. And now we may start using the NATO phonetic alphabet or maybe we'll just add some random word that starts with the corresponding letter. The games we play are mostly first person shooters like TF2, Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike:Source, etc. But there is also plenty of others like old-timey favorite Warcraft 2, and the plethora of other popular computer and console games out there these days. PLAN XIV ... PLAN Harder Register now! [07/10/10]
September 25th, 2010 is the date! Tournaments will be Counter Strike: Source, Left 4 Dead 2, and a special random arcade game tournament using the Computer Club's very own MAME cabinet! Each match for the tournament will be random game from a set of our choosing. We've been been working on the cabinet for a few months now.
